In Another’s Words

Michael Camarata

Her face is full of so much pain.
I’ll lose myself,
Admit the anguish
Out of respect for odd moments.

Teeth devour from within
And still the skin remains dry
As if tanned.

I’ve said it a hundred times!
I know the reason they are getting killed.
The devil is in the lie.

Gone is total dejection.
I miss the thrill of the hunt.

“Lay out the drub!”
Screams of joy, excitement & fun.

Human beings must live in anguish.
The agonies which are
Have their origin in the ecstasies
Of past bliss.
