Poem Tweets The Poem Was Distilled From

Eternal Turmoil

Michael Camarata

Let’s make an oil painting of anguish together,
A joyride of pain:
Obstacles racing about you
Through time.

I am in anguish in this flame,
But in the end
Elation overcomes exhaustion.
Let’s see if you can do it.
Think about what that means.
They won’t care.

I look back,
When I thought things were great,
And I recall crying.
Your words bordered on treason!
Now I’m ready
To be hunted & hounded
To death’s realm.

It is not precisely a happy memory,
You know.
Is it ok to force the anguish
Of a rapist’s child on a woman?

Tweet about this,
Why don’t you?
Nothing brings more pain
Than the loss of a loved one.
